My Media for Alexa

My Media for Alexa will automatically configure most Windows firewall products, however, the following steps are required if you are using AVG Internet Security Firewall products:

Steps

1. Open AVG Internet Security from the Start Menu.
2. Select 'Menu' > 'Settings' > 'Components' > 'Firewall' > 'Customize' > 'Package Rules'
3. Select 'Create Custom Packet Rules'
4. Scroll to the end of the table and click 'Add'.
5. In the new row that appears, edit the packet rule fields as follows:
   1. Protocol = TCP
   2. Direction = IN
   3. Port Number = 52050
6. Click 'OK' to save the new packet rule.
7. Retry playing music via My Media.
